My all time favourite. I listen to this song since early 80's. I know every tone, every note of every instrument by heart. There's this days where I just sit down put the earphones on and listen to it over and over and over. The sax at the end is just from another world. There's nothing like it.

May, 2019: my school band are going to use this trumpet intro, playing it by tenor sax and with a different arrangement, for an our song! This is a timeless masterpiece.

Dad bought this album on a cassette summer 1985, 1 day before we go on vacation to Greece(Pefkochori Chalkidiki). Charter vacation. By the time our plane lands in Greece, the company is bankrupt. No hotel no nothing except a return ticket 3 weeks later. I spent the entire trip down there and first day down there listning to the tape on a sony walkman. After some chatting with the locals, we were able to rent a house close to the beach. First and only time I been to Greece. Learnt my first english while on the trip "1 pall mall, no filter", 6 years old. Always think of that vacation whenever I hear a song from Brothers in Arms.

Incredibly, it does actually sound better than the standard digital version played on youtube. It is somehow deeper and the cymbals are clearer yet less annoying. It must be the editing.
