Two years ago I had this accident which destroyed my shoulder and ended my career as a guitar builder. So while I sat at home I decided to get better at actually playing guitar and being a life long fan of Dire Straits I began to tackle their songs.It was a very significant personal victory when I finally mastered playing this particular song. Which sounds deceptively easy, until you actually try to play it.

Sounds so crunchy with Terry Williams' drumming instead of Omar Hakim's.

That skies image at the beginning... Creates an addiction together with the song, perfect match. This version of the song is beautiful that words can't describe.

Gary Hellawell ha ha,. Think he was excited at being in a world famous band and playing live in front of thousands. He worked in a shop prior to being on this tour. He was probably on cloud nine and went over the top on stage. I think he loved Mark K . Probably wanted to impress him, don’t think he did though because he wasn’t on the next tour.
