Here is the nearly-forgotten, energetic & innocent "Beach Blanket Bingo" sound, captured beautifully. Dire Straits has been one of the most under-rated band ever.

I think that song was used in an early 1990s promo for KUSA Channel 9 in Denver. This was when Channel 9 was ABC (now it's an NBC affiliate). The station used that Dire Straits song, and they said "we're number one, watching 9NEWS." It was where KUSA anchors used spray bottles, it was set in a nightclub setting, and people were dancing in their swimwear.
