I used to sing this song so many times down at a lodge as well as what a wonderful world, those were fun times, I blew the people's minds because of the same raspy and soulful voice I have when I sang those songs.

One of my all time favorite singers. Great voice (and trumpet). I have a poster of the famous Phil Stern's photo with him, Billy Holiday and others of the greats of Jazz's jam session in my wall. Moon River is one of my favorite songs ever, since I was a young child. I read Huckleberry Finn when I was a little girl and always dreamed of sailing down the Mississippi with my "Huckleberry friend". Now, I just turned 71 and live within walking distance of the river, close to where the source is in Minnesota. Destiny brought me here, without me even expecting it to happen. That song means a lot to me. So does visiting The River.
