@Voices of Music I wasn't talking about Vivaldi tho. The way she adds notes just wasn't my thing. Hard to tell what the melody line was if I didn't know the piece. But she can play it how she wants it's just my opinion.

My personal favourite music on acid. Love this. Music is one of the most amazing things that exist in this universe.

I've already commented, but I also realized how predominately female this ensemble is, which I absolutely love! It's not normal, at least where I live, to see a predominately female instrumental group, especially not in HPP circles. Y'all rock!!!!

So I'm a huge fan of Baroque music and especially historical performance practice, and yet I don't usually listen enough to the Italian side of things (mostly German and British). I have definitely heard Vivaldi, and even some I enjoyed, but I have (somewhat shamefully) never actually listened to the full Four Seasons. I've listened to all of Spring, at least! Anyway, this performance reached out and grabbed me. Not just Vivaldi, but this ensemble, has made this one of my new favorite pieces. So brilliantly in sync, the levels are perfect, and such a unified sound... I don't think Antonio Vivaldi could have asked for a better performance, and I certainly won't! Bravissimo!!!
