Learning this piece for a college audition, so thought I would listen to it. Really pretty!
There is life in these old fingers yet.
Absolutely beautiful
Lestat at 3:17 or 3:57
you are here because of 3:15
If you type in the word 'vampire' this comes up.
......perfect for a little time travel. Am I the only one who has swum upon an ocean of time ?
uh Beethoven and Mozart who?
Who else is here because of Lestat?
Lord, I tried. I have for years, but I just cant seem to stand joseph....i hate his work
Very charming performance and nice sound quality! I love this!
شكرا جزيلا على العزف.
:)
I'm crying 😭😭😭 so dramatically
3:16 Powerful
Beautiful!!!! :-)
After listening to this, I think I'm going to listen to Haydn more often. He sounds more romantic here than in all the classical symphonies. Gabe Meruelo.
Una obra maestra!!!
Lestat from "Interview with the vampire" plays a small part of this piano piece.SO Good!
Now I know why I never listen to Haydn. Very "meh".
I take a jurney threw hi and low shade emotion with this beautifully composed piano masterpiece
Beautiful ! Thank you for posting!
Nice!Partagé sur Google+
What does mean 49 (No. 59) ?
nice
:)
superb!
What movement is this?
I thought your joke was great. Also, not joking in the least, I know Benjamin Franklin did a bit of composing.
Whenever I listen to this I just can't believe he died so long ago... This music is so alive it makes me cry
Gloria you've been a naughty, naughty little girl 3:18
Oh my god you're so fucking funny you should be a comedian...
Sea of Tranquility!
It is the sonata piece Lestat plays from 3:16 - 4:30.
Classical music is beautiful,it really is.honestly, just wonderful.
What a lot of people don't realize is Haydn was the life of the party. The reason why his students and fellow musicians called him "Papa" Haydn was because he not only was trustworthy but was extremely caring. Beethoven on the other hand was the quintessential introverted bi'polar kid we see today. Haydn was going to take him on one of his tours but decided not to because of his attitude. Beethoven was socially inapt and very controlling. This is his personality which reflects his music.
Wait a second... Haydn??? Really??? The pain a pure classical and not romantic composer might have felt...
the book that I got this information from did seem kind of vague...
to be fair, it was a sort of love-hate relationship. like father and son.
sounds cool
I love your username, genius, absolute genius my friend.
Lestat?
NO! I meant I think Beethoven's music is based on Haydn's as he was hs teacher, not Mozart! LOL
I think Beethoven's music was bad
3:16 - 4:30
true
With the introduction of that section in minor, I can hear the bits and pieces of the music that influenced Beethoven. It's somewhat faint but it's there. It's so cool to hear. Thanks for uploading!
Just imagine how much differently his music would've been if he were actually taught by Mozart... Whether it would've been for better or for worse, would we have had romanticism brought about by him? The 'ifs' raise amazing thoughts and speculations. :D
Beethoven wasn't overly fond of a lot of people, so that is not saying much lol.
You know Beethoven was suppose to taught by Mozart but he died before he got to meet him, so he ended up with Haydn.
música de climas intensos, que faz a gente refletir e ter a certeza de que a música é uma dadiva de Jah
Don't mind the autistic.
I personally think Beethoven's music has been more influenced by that of Haydn rather than Mozart. After all, Beethoven was a student of Haydn's.
3:54 you are welcome
Dude.....you kill me ahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahahaahahahahaahahahahahaahahahahahahahaahahahahah!! Best comment ever!
Música para refleccionar, ... Excelente
Sea of Tranquility.
Haydn's portrait is similar to that of George Washington's (or at least some think so). He's just making a crack. It's pretty funny, if I do say so myself.
My favourite Haydn piano sonata movement, and Horowitz plays it just right too.
3:17
Lol he does look so much like him kind of. xD
MARAVILHOSO, SUPER-SINISTRO.♥♥♥
and a brilliant scientist!!!
I just used mine on that comment. I think the needle broke off.
I read it on wikipedia. Now that I've considered it there's a chance that it might not be entirely factual given that I found the information on a website that could have been edited by anyone.
That's an interesting fact! Where did you read it?
Beethoven wasn't overly fond of how Haydn treated him as a student.
That's not what I read in his biographies. Haydn proudly held the values of French enlightenment. He was the bourgeois gentilhomme pas excellence
The guy that has failed to get a simple joke is calling ME an idiot!
that's not Washington you idiot
I do not know about it. But even if he was, he found a way to deal it with through music....
No we wouldn't. The guy was mean and spiteful.
i read horowitz ,holowitz.
If haydn was president we would have a better world
3:17 favorite part
This reminded me of The Sims OST, Classical Radio. Very similar.
Cantabile*
I heard of him. Everyone has different taste, even in classical music.
And all the wretched life. . Of the Mississippi.
Well you were remarking on that persons 'tasteless' comment when your username is equally as tasteless!
No he isn't! Everybody who knows classical, knows him!
3:17 - 4:30 simply awesome, I love playing that part of this song
Says the person with the username 'Pootubeftw'
an underated composor
3:17 - 4:30
This is the perfect song to listen to on headphones while mowing your grass at night.
@3:17 Wake up everyone
gah im trying to find a certain piece, im new to classical and smoke too much weed to exactly recall the name, it was definately haydn, definately a piano sonata or perhaps a concerto..it was definately in E or Eb..i just remember it made me feel like I was in some fantastical wooded grove playing a flute or some shit..sigh
The expression was unreal
and reading Richard Brinsley Sheridan - what else ? joy !
@ares12790 Beautiful film and even more beautiful book. Haydn is often mentioned in Anne Rice's books.
@ares12790 Interview with the vampire? :)
@SnifferOfPuss69 i was only joking, because i thought haydn resembled washington
Grapes.
George Washington was a great composer
From 3:17 to 4:30 I thought that Lestat was going to enter in my house to suck my blood, but when I have seen the sunlight I have laughted at myself XD.
@dunc3062 Where do you here any resemblance? :x
@TheFillafillason it wasnt a sarcastic sure it was a i dont really care anymore sure lol
Haydn was a true man of God.
Beautiful, Haydn was a genius!
