Love love love this song! I love how he switches verses from the first of him speaking to his own son and then the next he’s speaking from a child’s perspective and he’s talking to his own father.

All the times I listened to this song as a child I always thought it was sung by someone who was definitely so much older than 20. I was shocked when I found out he was maybe 21 when he recorded the original version.
