People like to bitch about the old Batman movies, but back then they were cool asf simply because of how odd and unique they were compared to all the other boring shit. Each one was amazing in its own way...they were more like art than people just trying to get big $ at the box office. I actually feel this way about some of the new Marvel movies too. Iron Man 1 barely had a script and was highly improvised, and also very unique (a billionaire in a cave creates micro-sized nuclear reactor, then a robotic suit of armor). Some of them are just the same shit over again, like how the Thor movies were becoming before Raagnarok, and the hulk movies, and even ant-man, captain marvel...they are still pretty unique but the stories aren't all that different in some of them. (newer DC movies are guilty of this too). I like unique movies with characters who are very different. That's why I watch the show Marvel Runaways. I thought it would be stupid but there's all these mad scientist types creating crazy unique inventions, and everyone has unique abilities. 2 of the parents are super geeky and you wouldn't expect them to be villains (and most of they time they kind of aren't). That's what makes good shows/movies IMO unique characters (cool tech. stuff and inventions doesn't hurt :D )
