And listen to it and Country Western they sing a lot about that same thing then you listen to it from a blues player I told this to a friend who listen to country and I said yeah they do sing about the same stuff but it really sounds cool when you hear it from the blues player. And in country it just feels like there sniveling

I saw Luther at the Trading Post in 74 in Roseville Michigan it was a type of Mall of mom and pop hippy stores always drugs there, had an arcade in the back with a concert area in the back back, Saw this guy, the NY Dolls,Rockets, So many others there. That year 1974 I was 17 great year to be a teenager. I've loved this guy ever since. he takes me right back there, stoned on Mesc or THC, haha I don't miss that but it went hand in hand to us.Stores like Walmart and Target ruined this country. Mom and Pop are nomore

I saw him perform this years ago on a pbs special with BB King and Eric Clapton, and when he went into the change from slow to upbeat, and left Clapton in the dust, BB King's smile was as wide as the big muddy, this artist never got the recognition he deserves
