Great slide show and audio.
A great song made better by Loreena!!!

Excellent.
The pictorial display is a perfect match for this music - the first song I ever learned to play on guitar - and I didn't know where it was coming from because I had just picked up my first guitar. Ever have the experience of having something or someone "channel" through you? Its like Heaven coming to occupy your soul, even if only for a moment.
Sie ist ein Engel, Love.
Lovely voice from heart for us lucky i.
Nan of the Smoldering Eye May 1, 2011(Anne Boleyn and Henry VIII)by Lilli Buck"Oh, Nan of the dark and smoldering eye,Oh, Nan of the fiery mind,Wilt thou torment me 'til I die,Or tease me 'til I'm blind?"How can you refuse your royal king,Who moved heaven and earth for love of you? Then come and kiss me, darling Nan,Or whatever shall your true love do?""No, I'll not be your light leman,For you have a royal Queen. If I consent, I'll be cast off, And I know what that will mean."Your eyes will seek another love,Although my heart is true.I'll be forsaken utterly,If I give in to you."She consented to his blandishments,And to his flattering lies.He married her illegally,And then she was despised. He put Queen Catherine in a dark, damp cellar,Where she'd grow sick and die.And then settled down with his new-made queen,Nan of the smoldering eye.The new- made queen grew great with child,And all hoped for a son.But she was delivered of a girl,Dismaying everyone. So the king's eyes roved to another love.Anne's pleadings were refused. And Queen Anne was beheaded,After she was falsely accused. Then farewell to Anne the firebrand,Of the dark and smoldering eye,No more to dwell in castles grandOr stony towers high.No more to dwell in chamber rooms,With tapestries so brave,But low as any commoner,She lies in the lowly grave.Never more to dwell in painted rooms,On feather beds to lie,But she must lie in the moldering tomb,Our Nan of the smoldering eye.No more to wear the crown of goldUpon her raven hair,But a crown of blood and earthen moldAre all this queen will wear.Hi all. This is a poem I wrote about Ann Boleyn. It was publish in the "Poet's Domain,' a few years ago.
Thats very good
perfect !
~To Dislike Is To Cast Your Soul Into Eternal Abyss
Linda musica amo
The Victorian, Pre-Raefelite and Art Nouveau artists really understood the magic realm of lore and made it resonate in their immortal art. Alas, it lasted just a brief period, extinguisted in the fire of the Great War. One day the fairy realm will rise again.
Wonderfull voice of Loreena and landscapes!
beautiful. what a gorgeous voice and wonderfully talented lady
This version of the song focuses entirely on the songs core intention, it is a lament on the loss, full of sadness, melancholy and wishfulness
Best version ever. What a gorgeous arrangement. Loreena at her best.
Loreena is the most complete woman. Nobody did better.Only a ANGEL like her can reach the PERFECTION, the INSUPERABLE.LOREENA is IMMORTAL.She belongs to the PARADISE. LOREENA is a CELESTIAL Muse. She is the music QUEEN, the GODDESS of our heart. The GODDESS of sensitivity.LOREENA forever, for the Eternity. Ever and ever.
If I coud choose a perfect and a sublime soul, I would choose your DIAPHANOUS and DELICATE SOUL. Beloved LOREENA, when I hear you, I feel see you beneath the stars of my clear sky. Oh, ETERNAL MUSE, Oh, IMPOSSIBLE DREAM, for me. OH, BELOVED GODDESS.
Give it a rest, huh?
24 person have no soul !
LOREENA is more than an illustrious character of the Music.LOREENA is a creative being of the best and highest feelings of the human soul.LOREENA is an absolutely sublime being in your vision of feelings.LOREENA is the best music, voice, words, MAGIC interpretation, etc.etc.WHO HEARS LOREENA, GIVE FOR LOST ALL THE TIME BACK AND TRAVELS TO ANOTHER WORLD. A UNIQUE WORLD.THE WORLD OF THIS GODDESS.Oh... GODDESS LOREENA... GIVE ME YOUR HEART... !

licoli - She’s not gonna let you bang her, dude.
To the tune of "What Child is This?"
It's the other way around. Greensleeves came first
+Brad Kirkland The opposite, actually, I believe. It's not uncommon for folk songs' tunes to be used for religious music.
If you wonder what greensleves is its what Henery VIII use to see Ann Boylen wear around the palace. She use to wear different shades of green. Teh story and poem is suppose to be written by Henry for Ann for his love her her.
History shows quite accurately that he dumped or beheaded most of his wives for not producing living sons. They didn't know back then that the male sperm is the sex-determinant.
It has always befuddled me how a love song immortalized for its beauty could come from such a presumably heartless man.
Believe it or not he was not always that way, it was just in his later years, after the fall from his horse in a jousting tournament his personality changed for the worse over time. However the young Henry was, tall, good looking, athletic, romantic, caring, and quite a poet by all accounts.
@Caprica Girl Thank you, yes. Also, women of that time would wear different sleeves to go with a dress, to change up the look.
Green was a color of lightness and love
Oh LOREENA, you are the Perfect Human Being. You are the most brainpower with SUBLIME ART.You are the SPLENDOROUS ECSTASY. Oh, LOREENA OUR GODDESS.
The legend of this song is as fallows. There is a persistent belief that Greensleeves was composed by Henry VIII for his lover and future queen consort Anne Boleyn. Boleyn allegedly rejected King Henry's attempts to seduce her and this rejection may be referred to in the song when the writer's love "cast me off discourteously".
what a lovely sentiment from a man that would inevitably have her head cut off :/
Mable Spurr this is the version with Henry's words just as written. The tune was from a popular tune of the time. Anne Bolen nick name around court was green sleeves. Lorena has that on the original cover of this C D. The visit. Copies of the poem by Henry is in museum in London tower.

Eu não diria melhor :)
No word is strong enough to say how beautiful it is !<3<3<3
agreed. the omitted/shortened notes and added/lengthened pauses took a lot away from it for me.
@Keyarchan I think it sounds pretty cool.. .it gives it real feeling something that a lot of singers... don't know how to do... most singers just sing whatever people tell them too.
attributed to Henry IIX said to abt Anne Bolyn
Kat O'Klzmk I have never seen the Roman numeral 8 written like that.
