I saw John at Red Rocks back in the early 80's. It was the best concert I ever went to because it was 3 concerts in 1. John came out by himself at around 3 pm and just played acoustic and acapella for close to an hour. He came out again at 6:00 for a sound check that lasted a half hour, again singing and performing songs that weren't on his concert song list. When his concert began at 7pm he went straight through to 10:30 without a break. His band had a break of about 15 minutes but John stayed out on stage and just sang with his guitar. It was a magical night I will never forget. RIP John. You are remembered.
