I know I'm late to the conversation but I think aside from bad game design AC Unity was a great game the thing is that it feels like each story is gradually being made into more and more of a open interpretation of the creed for each of our protagonists, I mean ever since Ezio any main Assassin has been terrible at upholding the creed that Altair and Ezio placed all those years ago and I feel like that's intentional, hell notice how in some cases Assassin's and Templars now arent so clear cut anymore, I think it's in relation to how the world as time progresses, evolves and so do the ideals, hell be honest with yourselves, the Desmond story didnt even feel like he was an assassin, sure there were parkour elements but he was never in league with any of his ancestors in his actions and I think it boils down to how each game strays further from the clear cut brotherhood.

The game is way better than people are saying yeah it came out with some major glitches but if you actually played the game and tried to ignore the glitches the game is really good.
