I cannot believe I just discovered Flume now. This song is THE most beautiful peice of art I have ever heard. I specifically love this collab, I hope Flume and Kucka collab again one day

To me, this song uses abstract audual punctuation along with a set phrase (hyperreal) to separate stages of personal growth and development. From visions so clear and so hypperral (our youth) to the realisation of what we thought were truths that turned out to be not so, and how we should have listened (to the advice that we all get but ultimately ignore because of the 'visions so clear' in our youth about how we know so much and how we perceive our world) to come to our own realization that things are much different than we first perceived them while in our teenage years. It would be great to hear a good interview about this with Flume. This can also be reflected in his use of flowers. Since flowers bud, bloom, and pass on to another flower (through pollination) so other flowers can grow, as we people do. As a passage of time and growth. ... maybe I'm just drunk.
