Was für eine wunderschöne Interpretation und großartige Leistung von Nurzhas Sadirbayev, der der herausfordernden Komposition mit seiner warmen, flexiblen Stimme absolut gerecht wurde. Dimash Qudaibergen ist als Komponist wie als Sänger gleichermaßen genial, und in seiner Rolle als Dirigent und Pianist sehr charismatisch. Bravo auch für Mansur Qudaibergen an der Gitarre! "Samal", ein Lied das tief berührt und zum Träumen verführt. Ein wirklich sehr schönes Video, das nicht von der musikalischen Essenz ablenkt, sondern zu ihrem Kern führt. Eine Komposition für Stimme und Orchester, wie sie schöner und ausgewogener nicht sein könnte. Weiter so Dimash! “Самал” - Breeze - may be the most enigmatic composition by Dimash till date. The Music contains multiple currents, yet the title points not to a storm but a soft breeze. The lyrics are telling about a true and tender love. While the powerful voice of Nurzhas Sadirbaev is expressing a great passion, honesty about complex emotions, gratitude for the beloved and a declaration of trust, of faith in unity by a shared light.It may be that only Dimash (or another Kazakh) could have made such music. As pieces of music by his people can contain raw emotions called back from the past and woven together with later reflections, creating timeless wisdom. (fx listen to Camaltau performed by Dimash). Same can be heard in dombyra pieces, rhythm, dimmed or loud sound, slow or fast movements are conveying both a story and the true feelings of the performer. Gratitude to the incredible singer and composer Dimash for having opened so many hearts in the world to the wisdom and rich culture of the Kazakh people.
