My father, who was an OG Metallica fan from California in 1981 and had the OG demo with Mustaine and McGoveny, lost passion for this band when Load came out. When I was 9 years old I got a hold of my fathers And Justice For All and Kill 'Em All cassette tapes and blasted them until they gave out! I ended up loving all of Metallicas work and my father would make fun of me in my teenage years because I was listening to S&M and St. Anger all the time. Once Hardwired hit YouTube and my father heard it for the first time he text me and said "new Metallica music video out and they sound like Ride the Lightning again!" I bought him the album... and this is now one of his FAVORITE Metallica songs so much he requests to hear it the mix with the classics and he's even grown to like Fuel and King Nothing as well. Way to go Metallica for bringing back your OG fans from the Bay!!!
