I don't have any connections to the Scandinavian people as far as I know in my family tree. I don't even understand the words,but when I am listening to Wardruna,any song,something awakens inside me.Chills come down the spine,goosebumps everywhere,heart start pumping faster,and I have the feeling I can do anything,and fear nothing.Does someone have similar feelings,or maybe explanation about mine....

I'm itching to know the meaning behind this beautiful song...As I hear this song I'm reading the lyrics and translation and I'm thinking about what this song is...Well, it obviously is about need..But, need for what? He says he's sharply aging, so is it need to be young again?Or is it that he found a partner? He sings about that he was first so cold and now his heart gives sparks to the fire within... Then he says again his tracks he trod where so cold but that he sings "In need is found, Naud my fire"....

to bad they dont translate everything in the booklet, like the last 3 parts, only the middle is translated. It surprises me that nobody has mentioned the parts about hunger and burning before or are most people mostly just talking about how viking they and their ancestors are (9/10 of you probably being from the usa), rather than actually trying to understand what these songs are about? didnt anybody notice? Am i the only one actually reading and listening to the lines here? If so, sad day!
