That voice, what a marvel.

Could anyone tell me the source/artist/title of the first two images shown in this video and the painting at the 0:55 mark?

We have purchased Bellamy's Merlin's Isle of Gramarye because of this album of covers. So I expect more people will be discovering the originals that way too. I also bought Sam Lee's album, which has some nice tracks on it, but not like this track, which is of the melt inducing variety in my book. : ) My husband is the real folkie between us. The Bellamy cd is his.

Not to diminish Sam Lee who is brilliant, but Peter Bellamy performed a monumental work of love setting many Kipling poems to music and singing them with taste and authenticity, and didn't get the deserved fame in his lifetime.I am glad Bellamy's versions are being carried on by others, but the originals are great!. If you want to hear them, several of the albums have finally been re-released and are on Amazon: "Oak and Ash and Thorn" "Merlin's Isle of Gramarye" "Barrack Room Ballads"

I can tell Bellamy has influenced him - Bellamy sang with very free rhythm over droning accompaniment sometimes.

@mzantsi Yeah. It's cool. I love it. To me it shows that the past is always with us. Sam Lee has an album coming out sometime. I'll be watching for it. : )
