y’know I’m not mad at that cliffhanger anymore it feels like so much already happened in ATSV that it would be too much so making it split makes lots of sense because it’d feel like the plot would be all over the place and even though it doesn’t feel that concluded this song at the end kind of feels as if it was. The song feels like the end of a big journey so even though there was no satisfying conclusion I think this song being played at the end almost feels as if there is. And honestly the cliffhanger did kind of bring some suspense so still a 10/10 for me!!

Personally whenever I listen to this song, I'm instantly thinking of both Miles and Gwen. I believe this song summarizes both of their characters. Here are a few reasons:In the intro, it describes both Miles and Gwen at the end of the film. Gwen let Miles down and broke his trust in her and as a result of him escaping the Spider Society, she gets kicked out. But she refuses to give up on herself or Miles despite the damage she caused and assembles her own team of Spider-People in an effort to save him. For Miles, he lost his Uncle, his friends are against him as the lyrics say "Feel like everyone's against me don't want me to be great", and he's trapped in the wrong dimension. In spite of all of this however, Miles refuses to give up on beating Spot and saving his dad from him, giving him the focus he needs to escape the Prowler, aka Miles Morales-42.
