This Song Is So Sexy!
I just pooped my pants.
Yes, good
I worked in the field of assembling 8-track tapes, at the time this came out. I had my choice of any, at no charge. I drove an hour's drive, to the new Cumberland mall, specifically to buy this one, at the astronomical price of $8.98. I skipped school, and spent the day driving my 1961 VW Bug around the recently built I-285, and burnt the entire tank of gas ($3.30 worth) listening, at FULL VOLUME. It seems like only a few months ago...BTW, it is SO much better with noise cancelling headphones!
Raza única del rock seguidores del mensaje que altera la mente de los oprimidos temor de los opresores libertad rompecabezas rock
The bass on this track is out of this world!
What a sound people forget that it was just three guys and a singer making all those iconic sounds witch makeup rock and roll
Born in 93’ and discovered it’s never too late to listen to such utter filth. 🔥🎸
good groupband
The microphone needed an ultrasound after hearing this.
*Stolen from Howlin’ Wolf*
The first prints of Led Zeppelin 2 the song was called Killing Floor with writing credits to Chester Burnett aka Howlin' Wolf. After they changes it to the Lemon Song as well as the tempo is much slower and the squeeze my lemon line is from Robert Johnson that most likely got it from somebody else. Howlin Wolf got his due and is credited on everything since. Give it a rest forfuksake!
Robert Plant and not quitting you, name a more iconic duo.
Listening to this album. This shit bad. From beginning to end
The bass line is insane, but I’m all about that drumming.
So Sexy ...I can feel it in my lady parts ..🙆♀️
The second album was great
Estás suffffriendo,MariaValeria??!!!!!Jajajaja AAAAAAA JAJAJAJA diez✓( Solo estas en el paso 2 de 12!)
I am going to buy a big bag of lemons!
Wat lyrics!!!
If there's another guitar player that can touch jimmy i wanna hear em. Ace frehley maybe a close 2nd.
These kids set up a lemonade stand and the whole block somehow became impregnated !
Perfect, Daily required listening, timeless!
JPJ is absolutly amazing in this song
when life gives Led make ledmond-aid.
The initial songwriting credits here did not include Chester Burnett (known better by his stage name of Howlin' Wolf), despite the opening verses containing the melody and lyrics for his song "Killing Floor". After his publishing company came to a settlement agreement with Zeppelin in the 70's, his name now shows as a co-writer along with the other four Zeppelin members. Robert Johnson, whose "squeeze my lemon 'til the juice run down my leg" line appears in his song "Travelin' Riverside Blues" recorded in 1937 remains uncredited.
JPJ homage to James Jamerson.
It's a wonder they didn't have a parental advisory label on the front cover.
JD here my birthday today 19857 and loving this music....
ボンゾだよね☺
Èsta se las banco !
syncopated beats and rhythm originals used to play it over and over in the 70's
the DON lemon song

John Paul Jones ladies and gentlemen. John Paul Jones. Probably THE most underrated musician on the planet Earth. Good Day.
Saw him on a small stage with Dave Rawlings Machine. He was great!
Please listen to "Howlin´Wolf - Killing Floor" and let me know if you think this is robbery
"Ain't nothin' but the blues." I, IV, V

This second LZ album is my favorite of all 9 studio masterpieces and was my first vinyl I've got when I was 14. All songs come linked one to another and is perfection made music... your mind flies into the space with no limits... love it

Oh man, that bass line .......
Thieves, decent thieves... but thieves nonetheless.
Howlin Wolf was here..
The way JPJ enters this song is only expected of him. 👌
Phenomenal vocals, even Ann Wilson could prove it i guess :D The one and only Robert :)
Unforgettable Album. To me, subjectively, this sounds more like 'hard-rock progressive jazz' with some blues flavor in it. Interesting.
One of my favorite songs since I was sixteen! John Paul Jones and Bonham rock!
sickest blues zeplin song
Anyone else catch in F is for family when they spoofed this with a song about a pickle?
Captains play this at high sea when they want to drive the mermaids wild.

What a song, the raw emotion and passion in this..
Seamen Rule! They can't quit anybody

I just bought a bag of lemons to make, of course, fresh squeezed lemonade. On way home singing this to my wife who gave me funny looks. She thinks I'm mad anyway. Brought me here upon returning home. Go ZEP!

Bonham & Jones: Genius
Best band of all time. Dont care what ya think
They stole everything from the blues men. They stole lemon from Robert Johnson. And the list goes on.
@Tek Sight yea they stole but you gotta appreciate what they turned those old songs into
good song!
Oooo Robert squeeze that lemon baby!!!!!👍👍👍😉😉😉👄👄👄👄👄🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
The guitar tone is just downright dirty.
So many songs are displays of JPJ's masterclass performances but this is imo easily in the top 5. Ive said it before but probably most evident here...JPJ lays down the spinal cord for the entire song with his play...just absolutely stellar.
Led Zep did a wonderful rendition of this song - which is NOT "The Lemon Song" but is indeed "Killing Floor," originated by Howlin' Wolf in 1964. The Electric Flag offered a fine blues 'n rock rendition of the song, with great horns and wild guitar, on their 1968 album, "A Long Time Comin'." But kudos to Led Zep to make the song rock so hard and sexified - "Please, squeeze my lemon until the juice runs down my leg." Howlin' would have been proud of that cover. And the Electric Flag (a great band that included Buddy Miles, Herby Rich, Mike Bloomfield, among other mega-talents) would have liked it, too. And yep, just like most of you, I listened to Led Zep's version of this song when I was a teen in the late '60s, just hoping and praying that one day my sweet Catholic girlfriend would finally squeeze my lemon. She didn't, but of course I did. Often.
Lemon was Robert Johnson, but yeah nothing original. Just repackaged for the young whites.
Oh yes, my childhood, oh teen, loved this
when you first hear this at 3years old, Ovah and Ovah. and 50years later it still sounds fresh
If you think, back in 1973, JPJ went to Peter Grant to resign from the band because the touring was getting out of hand. G told him ' be I'll for a while ' he spoke to Jimmy & they agreed to cut back on touring. Thank f**k he did, what would we have lost without Jonesy.
Glad most people in this comments section are bigging up Jonesy. The best part is always when Jimmy drops out and Jonesy and Bonzo start laying down that groove.
I really like this song because it sounds a lot like Paul McCartney’s Lady Madonna tbh
moood, never get enough of zepp
Boy thank God for American blues because there would be no Zeppelin Doors or Rolling Stones without it.
They stole from the blues men. And nobody knew or cared.
The lemon song is fantastic, but inside lemon song there is another music and thats of John Paul Jones.
i thought by the facial hair john bonham was the oldest, and jimmy was the youngest, turns out jimmy is 5 years older!
Page missed that G string in the intro like 2-3 times, thats what I love about the old vintage music, it was Raw & more pure, not overly polished & allows you to sorta feel like youre there more than Polished new music.
Bravo ⚘⚘⚘⚘
The bass is the best!
Robert Plant – vocalsJimmy Page – guitarJohn Paul Jones – bassJohn Bonham – drumsHowlin' Wolf, Willie Dixon, Robert Johnson, Albert King -- inspirations & influences
Yard birds, Clapton,
This song’s lyrics were stolen from Howlin Wolf’s ‘Killing Floor’
You are 💩
Sibly Sibly there’s factual evidence if you just listen to killing floor by howlin wolf
Very Sexy but Sad Song.
I think now I'll wash this down with a little Hendrix if six was 9!
They used to play this on FM radio .
