Well, the judges decision could have gone either way but ppl in the comments are being way too biased in favor of Buakaw. Risco is one of the only fighters i've seen trying to counter his style ( moving forward while catching the fleeing opponent with kicks ), Risco kept moving towards Buakaw , which prevented him from throwing a lot of effective kicks and he kept pressuring him with good boxing. I still think this could have gone either way, but you got to recognize that Risco came well prepared for this fight .

Most opponents try to out power Buakaw, try to wrestle him during a clinch, try to do leg kicks and take damage . All these guys fall into Buakaw trap. Because Buakaw body condition, is very superior. If you try to battle him with solely power, you would lose. Not saying Buakaw skill or what, buakaw is a legendary fighter, but also because he wins a lot, he has some ego and stubbornness which makes him thinks he is invincible. If we look back, even Buakaw lost to Masato, Sato(get kneed at liver, etc) buakaw falls to the ground but his determination is still there in his eyes. In this fight, many YouTube comments said Robbed , fixed. But actually it is not. Mr Spainish boy has a solid boxing game, and he stepped up to make Buakaw harder to swing a kick (without a step to set it up), of course Buakaw has good boxing, and can do high knees. But you can see Spain boy throw 1,2,3, then both hands go back to full defense, buakaw eat some jabs, but when he counter, Spain boy already blocked those shots.
