Wow I just watched this guy for my First time in his early years and now. He don't seem to have the same soul in it . I still think he's awesome. I love that earlier video he was much younger and had long hair. He seemed to really pull the sound right out of his soul. Eaither way he's still awesome.

The guy was a guitar god and then turned to religion and basically never played blues again.I have every one of his albums but none of them touch the first 3 albums of his, the hard attack, guitar screaming solo's and gut wrenching emotion.....and the crazy thing is he says he is embarrassed of his early blues music...Sometimes you can be so good at something you simply do not realise what you are throwing away, either that or he thought the blues was the 'devils music'. His new soul stuff is good but it is still akin to SRV throwing away the electric guitar for a damn triangle.
