I love Petula and Emma.

It's not that she doesnt have the range. I think she was juat protecting her image and the vocal projection that she was known for over the years. That soft low voice was her usual part in apice girls. Petula's version is just a step highier and could have been not much of an effort for emma.

This is the worst horrible song ever.

I don't think she had neon lights in mind when she pointed down while singing downtown.

I rather go downtown with Emma for sure. She's more lovable and sexier for sure than Petula sorry. Not a talented voice but she makes it work just fine.

Emma Bunton is an international superstar. She looks great, she sounds great and is multi talented. For anyone to diminish her career, or her as a person, is mean-spirited and wildly incorrect. People should be praising her for what she has given throughout the years. She's a true lady who deserves nothing but respect.

I agree, she also was to me in the 90s what Tom Cruise was to the girls lol. She's still beautuful today.

I love me some Emma but I agree with some of the comments, her cover is hideous and she doesn't have range enough to face it, her voice is weak and fits pop ballads more.

You must be tone deaf, that's all I can say. Pet Clark did the original and is hands down the best. Her voice is FAR stronger than Baby Spice. Emma can barely sing above a whisper, her voice is so weak. Also, Pet Clark has a far better range. If you listen to the chorus of Emma's version, you'll see that they transposed it down to accommodate Emma's very limited range. Pet Clark could sing the song as written. Emma can't and had to have the chorus transposed for her.

Horrible. Pet Clark, even in her 80s, has a much stronger voice and did more justice to this song than "Baby Spice."

She doesn't have the strongest voice with the widest vocal range, but she actually does fairly good with this show tune. Well, she's the former Baby Spice; not Christina Aguilera. Her look is very cute.
