Interestingly enough it was worshipped in modern day Spain, France, Belgium and obviously in Helvetia (Switzerland) by the Celts in those regions and was later absorbed as a deity by the Romans, after conquering Helvetia, Hispania and Gaul.

haha Well this band is from Switzerland in southern-central Europe but Ok and is based on Celtic music themes and culture. Their song is about Epona, the continental Europe Celtic goddess of Horses, worshipped in Gaul (France), Helvetia (Switzerland), Belgium, Germany (before german tribes moved in), Hispania (Spain and Portugal) and the Netherlands before Romans arrived. This goddess was later absorbed by them.
