I've had sleeping issues for years and I'm a light sleeper, and a night owl. My sleeping pattern has always been staying up late nights and waking up at noon, which is unhealthy. Living with other family members in my household has always been hard due to two people with lack of hearing, which caused them and my mother to develop a bad habit of talking very loud. We've recently moved to a smaller apartment with thin walls, and one of their bedrooms is right next to mine, so I have been getting woken up by their voices constantly and compromising with them is impossible. Its not fair for them to have to keep their voices down because I sleep til noon, and its not fair for me to get woken up every 6am or in the middle of the nights due to their loud voices for no reason at all. I've grown frustrated and ear plugs no longer works for me. I'm not one that can sleep with music in my ears or sound effects but I decided to try something new to keep me from going insane, (lol) and this video really helped me SO MUCH! It completely blocked out all noises and I was able to adapt to the lovely rain sounds. My brain sometimes forgets I have sounds in my ears when I drift off to sleep and I ended up in a deep relaxing dream, when I woke up I felt so refreshing. I can finally toss my useless earplugs and get some new earphones instead!

My all-time favourite ambience/sleep recording. When I'm either exhausted or it's my weekend, I have my melatonin and put this at just the right volume and I'm zonked out in 20 minutes. I find this is the best one to REALLY hear a continuous, torrential downpour at a low pitch and not have it sound like SHHHHHHH after a while. Please keep this video up for as long as your channel and/or YouTube exist!! :D
