It's pretty amazing how a 47-year-old guy has the #1 alternative rock song. But he deserves it. When so many artists sound exactly the same, Beck continues to innovate and push boundaries after all these years. He's an artist in the truest sense.I saw him in September 2017 in Indianapolis when he opened for U2. He might have put on a better show than U2 did.

I love Beck. Odelay was the first CD I ever bought after I saw him on the '97 VMAs, and I'm weirdly proud of that because it's still sooooo good. He was my first rock star crush. I was a bit obsessive and I was known in high school as the weird chick who was in love with Beck, haha. I followed him closely until about Sea Change but lost track of Beck for a long time after that (moved on to David Bowie and NIN obsessions), but rediscovered him with Morning Phase. Looking forward to getting to know all the stuff I missed, and really excited I'm finally going to see him on the Colors tour!

Beck continues his descent into music for adolesents. It is almost getting creepy at this point. I can't wait for his live show on Sesame Street. Sad that such an immense talent has fallen so far so fast in quality and originality. I thought it was an old school campy Beck joke at first, but it now seems to be a real direction.
