The first time I went to prison in Oregon and I was on the bluebird bus affixed with the black box and all of that garbage, This song came on the radio. I will always remember that time and this song will be forever engraved in my mind because there I was heading to prison for the first time and me being a music lover / guitar player heard this very great song for its debut and now 20 years later it is still as great as the first time I heard it.Just saying liking something that much while I was on my way to unchartered lands is very unusual to me. All of my negative feelings and thoughts left me for a moment while I listened and cherished this song so much. Before that trip I already wore out the soundgarden album that has black hole sun, and one of my favorites of all time " fell on black days" and I just put it together then that this must or sounds like the same singer but never heard of Audioslave. Well I was right but I then thought to myself how can you top them sound garden songs. Well I know how now. You have to be a good mother f'er . R.I.P. Chris Cornell you done is all so much good and I myself will never forget what you have done for me musically.

I remember finding this video when I was searching for live performances from Audioslave. This was before the horrible and sad day that I heard about Chris. Somehow I've kept coming back to this video ever since. It opens a wound and heals it at the same time. The pain is unbearable, it's not just a "personal" loss, its a loss to all who appreciate the beauty of real music.
