Lo de Amy debo agradecérselo a Leo Messi, ese argentino que juega a fútbol. Resulta que hace años, a principios de la década que ya se acerca a su fin, se decidió que ese tal Messi era el mejor jugador en Europa, por lo que le otorgaron un balón de oro. Recuerdo haber visto por TV la correspondiente ceremonia, una tarde de Enero. Allí estaba él, con otros jugadores y personal diverso del mundillo futbolístico. La celebración del acto incluyó a una artista escocesa, lo que me atrajo*. Pensé cuando la anunciaban que no la conocía y debo decir que me gustó mucho lo que tocó, lo que cantó. Sonaba bastante comercial pero me atrajo, me gustó. A partir de ahí me interesé por profundizar, adquiriendo algunas de sus publicaciones, que me encantaron. Pensaba: "¿cómo puedo decaer en este terreno tan comercial? ¿No me basta con Coldplay?". Bromas a parte, me dejé llevar. Cuando algo gusta o atrae, ¿por que limitarse o, peor aún, ignorarlo por hipotéticos principios? Su música es sencilla, directa y muy pegadiza. Merece la pena y debo decir que me alegra haberla descubierto, incluso en aquel escenario tan curioso. Gracias Leo :-) 57.
