30 years later and this song is still solid!

4/30/23Don't know why this one popped into my head this morning. It's not usually a song I listen to. But my friend A was talking about her brother Matthew, who died last year or so. It made me think about HC, my little brother who died in 1991 - just shy of his 23rd birthday. Keep talking about the dead! If you stop talking about them, they die! Love will literally keep them alive! Name the grandkids after them. It's the only way to keep the dead in the family memory! I know about my mother's younger sister (who died at 17) because I carry her name as my name. Because of the name - her pictures - of all the pictures of dead relatives in the house - her pictures meant something to me. So I asked about her, and my mom told me stories. I never met E - she died many years before I was born. I know nothing about her - but from my mother's stories I know about the love my mother had for her - and that's all I really need to know.

I was fortunate to attend the San Diego leg of this tour, I will never forget hearing this song performed live it was so beautiful…… ❤❤❤
