Never realized it until I started doing research for an article I'm working on but Taylor Swift and Britt Spears actually have alot of songs that parallel each other.

So I love Taylor Swift. But this song really gets under my skin. And here is why... I can't stand when big stars talk about how much life as a big star sucks. I mean it must be really hard to be able to pay bills and not go days without food because you are out of money. It must be really hard to have people admire you and talk about how wonderful you are. I mean it really has to suck to wake up and know that even if you never make another dime, you can live the rest of your life just fine. And you know what, I am going to talk about this song..."And your lover in the foyer doesn't even know you." sounds ruff. I don't even know me! I have no idea who the hell I am. But yeah, someone else not knowing you, hard life. "And your secrets end up splashed on the news front page." At least someone gives a fuck about your life. If you died people would cry, you would be missed. Damn, people giving a shit about must be hard. "You don't feel pretty, you just feel used." At least you feel something. You are not up for days at a time numb inside wishing any form of human interaction to the point you would settle for someone beating you just so you can feel something. "Another name goes up in lights and you wonder if you will make it out alive." Make it out alive? I'm sorry, what? With a bank account that could support a wealthy lifestyle for the rest of your god damn life? This song does a really good job of making me take pity on the hard life of super stars.

I think this song is about no one in particular but hollywood in general and how lonely it can become. Just my thought though
