'to live for the hope of it all' 'canceled plans just in case you'd call' reminds me how i hopelessly tried to make it happen. 'will you call when you back at school' i literally wondered every day whether everything will be over when we returned home after summer. 'cause you weren't mine to lose' we always knew there was no hope, but that doesn't mean i don't think about him because i'm two thousand miles away.

I thought, at first, Exile was my favorite but I always listen to this song on repeat.

What I would love to see is a 3 part music video between August, Betty, and cardigan where it’s the exact same moments/scenes but for each song, the camera captures the viewpoint of one of the 3 people in the love triangle to show the different voices in the story (like the other girl in August and Betty in cardigan). The arc between all 3 songs is so beautiful and it would make such a beautiful story playing out and showing how each person sees the other 2 throughout that summer and fall
