meditiation is connecting your soul to the universe to allah subhana wa ta allah. meditation is not from a religion. or any form of a religion.. allot of budism do it, christians, muslims, and even people who dont believe, since we are muslim we know the truth, but that doesnt mean we are separed, we have to learn from everyone ..thats why allah even gave the djins different religions. prophet moussa (sws) and issa (sws) where from different religions but still we have to learn from them. meditation is to dont let too much dunya into your soul. praying is a form of meditating. meditiation can be in every religion its a form of blocking all negative energy out. so meditations means connecting to the soul.. that not haram., that is a must in islam.. and the difference is,... we all meditate in a different way.. its not just the body who prays you have to connect
