  3. Burst Flare

12:26Shadow: I think they're a bit too cute to be building killer death machines.*One game later*Tora: *Creates Poppi, who could very well be a killer death machine*

  4. Burst Flare

9:26 Yeah, 2 lightyears away. Light can travel *extremely* far in one year.12:42 Funny how the idea of that being the only way gets blasted to bits by the very next game.

  5. Ashen Phoenix

  6. Ashen Phoenix

  7. Dhruvo DZ

Btw wtf is ignis doing in here

  8. 8BitHero-P Music

I doubt X and the original series are at all connected. But the fact X doesn’t want to explain ANYTHING about Mira or its world. Doesn’t really help

  9. KingDracoX

If the two games are connected (Which they really aren't) then here's my theory. The Homs from XC1 use space travel to go a planet that is named Earth. All records of anything in XC1 including the planet the Bionis was on fades away to the ages. When Earth gets destroyed and the WW reaches Mira they've actually re-discovered Bionis, and all the other continents are just the corpses of the Bionis and Mechonis. Primordia is the Bionis leg and KneecapNoctilum is Satorl Marsh mixed with Bits of Makna ForestCauldros is a chunk of the MechonisSylvalum is one of the lower regions of Valak MountainLike I said the two games aren't connected. Just thought this would be fun

    calm tree`s

yes they are xenoblade 2 and 3ds are linked and this xeno game and xeno gears etc are all linked

  15. Gone In A Wisp

It would be pretty cool if Monolith linked both worlds together in X2...

    just nope

a person found a easter egg from xenoblade 2 in x

    Gone In A Wisp

    really? What was it?

    just nope

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FKt_7h5sLG8all xenoblade games and xenogears and xenosaga are linked now we need xenoblade X2 / 3 and 4 +

  16. Thirteen 1355

Alvis can't do whatever he wants.

    just nope

    why not ?

    Thirteen 1355

Because Alvis is a machine without free will.

    just nope

he has free will he helped shulk on his known will

    Thirteen 1355

just nope No he helped Shulk for the sake of Zanza, but later on Shulk became a candidate for tapping into Alvis' power.

  17. derek bortz

2 years at light speed from earth wouldnt get you halfway to the next nearest star lol

  18. Alex Stitzer

I was curious if you had any theories on the black knight in the end scene

  19. Jayden Hamilton

Sometimes I just wonder what the actually HECK are the Nopon doing on Mira. Now it all makes sence. And it gives me a feeling that Nintendo was purposely trying to make 1 and X in the same universe.

  20. Jayden Hamilton

Wait at 12:53 Nopon are in the 2nd game, does that mean 2 and 1 take place in the same universe as well, and that their were more than 2 titans even in the first game?! My head is melting!!!!

    just nope

all xeno games are conneted and happen at the same time shulk and rex events happen at the same time and alvis , mythra and malos are all kin malos and mythra are in xeno 2 and alvis is in the 3ds game

    just nope

and xenoblade x is the world where shulks world and those who are on rex`s one may meet there are cat like beings in x which must be kin from those gormotti in xeno2 and the telethia and macha are from shulks world

  21. Dillon Kinder

so Shulk created a new universe does that mean he also created the alien species that destroyed earth and want all humans dead in Xeoblade X?

  22. Dillon Kinder

What is difference between Homs to Humans?

  23. Dillon Kinder

Mira and Bionis do have lookalike similarities

  24. mrxcs

SPOILER [Xenoblade 1, Xenoblade X and Xenoblade 2]:This video is from 2016. Now we know that there are 3 dimensions. The first [Xenoblade X] where scientist Klaus activated the machine being teleported to another dimension [Xenoblade 2] destroying the existent planet, of that dimension, on the process. And with remorse rebuilding a new world "Alrest".Also a third dimension was created [Xenoblade 1] where half of his body is in (other half in the Xenoblade 2 dimension), in this dimension he is a god creating his own particle. His assistance and lab AI are also in this last universe, also as gods and semi-gods.In the first dimension they just disappeared. The earth was destroyed by the war making them need to search for another planet. [Xenoblade X game].In the second dimension Klaus is consumed by sorrow and try to rebuild the life he had destroyed throw "Blades" entities [Xenoblade 2 game].In the third dimension, Klaus/Zanza seems to not know what really happen and thinks he is now owner of the universe, and fearing being surpassed create a world that has a cyclic wipe. [Xenoblade 1 game].

  25. SHADO_lancer117

It actually makes sence to me

  26. The Pank Spheal

its not on topic, but when i was little i found a wii game in a bargain bin. it had a redbrown haired man and a pink haired woman, both in white cybernetic suits. they crashlanded on a planet and had to fight some dark creatures. I thought it was part of the Xeno saga, but I haven't found one on the wii other than Chronicles. I dont remember its name, but my brqin keeps telling me Xenosphere. If anyone knows what game i'm talking about, please let me know.

    The Pank Spheal

it used the nunchuck if that helps.

    The Pank Spheal

It's Spectrobes: Origins. Anyone else here played it?

  27. Jose Ferrer Jr

Everyone got to know more in Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Bionis and Mechonis are not on Mira, they're on Elysium

  28. Kevin Mejia

I still firmly believe the X series are supposed to happen before the story of Klaus the cliffhanger of the ending of XCX leads me to believe soon in the sequel we will learn what happened to earth and know more about klaus, the architect of the universe of Shulk and Rex

  29. Falloh

Well you were right about Klaus not destorying the original universe I guess

  30. andrew holm

you were right about them not destroying earth this is explained in xenoblade chronicles 2

  31. Rodrigo Barrera

    Alrest is in Mira.

    just nope

how so and where on the map

  32. Anjelly studio

Claus destroyed the earth with some kind of the Large Hadron Collider

  33. dekuramzie 04

Shulk is the race of human before the samar and at the end of xenoblade are th samars and after that we are coming than the earth was destroyed from the mechonics and the ganglion than we landed on mira shulks home planet becaus th nopons are you really thin k the map from xenoblade x is the hole world NO it is not there is a big ocean and anywhere is the bionis (not too far away cause i think are not that good shipers 😁) and xenoblade 2 is also on mira but it is the time after xenoblade 1 ( i have not played the game but ithink xenoblade 2 is after xenoblade 1)And after this long text i hope xenpblade x 2 is in production

  34. dekuramzie 04

Shulk is the race of human before the samar and at the end of xenoblade are th samars and after that we are coming than the earth was destroyed from the mechonics and the ganglion than we landed on mira shulks home planet becaus th nopons are you really thin k the map from xenoblade x is the hole world NO it is not there is a big ocean and anywhere is the bionis (not too far away cause i think are not that good shipers 😁)

I saw the titel and thought What a suprise uhhh...😧

  36. Quote LanceLnc

Thanks for the initial info!I'll drop here when beat both games, bookmarked!

  37. Marshadow KID

Did. you have to give shulk glasses during that sequence

  38. Omar Ortiz

Thanks to the new game, we know that it XC2 and XC X are in the same universe so that’s impossivle

  39. Kissai Rashaegawa

Awesome. You made me so hype for X2. If they make it.

  40. Green _

This gets even more insane when xenoblade 2 happens.

    Thor's Hammer

Green _ So does this mean Rex and Shulk's attentions were completely worthless since their people probably completely died out.

    Green _

Thor's Hammer yeah, they'd be long dead so any ruler, god or otherwise could take hand and do a bunch of crap

    Thor's Hammer

    Green _ That's sad.

    Thor's Hammer

Green _ There's only a matter of time before another human decides to play God and tries to claim omnipotence for themselves. "Humans who dare to play God will pay a steep price for their arrogance that is Truth." - Father (FMA Brotherhood)

    DragonGamer 475

honestly xc2 doesnt cloud the timeline that much since it takes place at the same time as xc1

  41. Notowned ishuman

what if malos and mythra last form was in xeno x the colours match them purple/black males and blue/green mythra and what if alvis is on mira while mythra and malos control the ghosts of mainly malos controlling them

  42. aesthetic fantasy

Xenoblade 1, Xenoblade X, and Xenoblade 2 are all connected :) Man i love the Xeno series!

  43. Ryu Kusanagi

your Mechon are called Machina and I would call the Monado in X the 'Ponado' xD

  44. Ardras

What if...the Homz were the Samaarians the ganglion fears so much? I don't have any solid prooves, it's just un huntch... But it would make sense wouldn't it?

  45. HoDKenji

Klaus is the architect of shulks world and rex´s world. Alrest ist the paralel world of shulks world.

  46. P V h

Earth replicated by alvis, humans chased off earth, chance the titans are on Mira, hey maybe those buildings on cauldros were partially made from the remains of agniratha, hey zanza cut that city off of mechonis. What I think is the Sumarians and the gang lions great one prophecy has something to do with shulk. Shulk being the great one, the one who fell zanza

  47. Kevin Notanactualname

Almost two years after this video was posted, we had confirmation that (*BIONIS-SIZED SPOILERS* FOR XENOBLADE 2 (and 1, and X) FOLLOW!!!)Xenoblade 2 is actually strongly connected to the original, after much insistence from developers it was it’s own story, renders these theories about X much more plausible. They need to be revisited with the new evidence Xenoblade 2 provides, in confirming there are multiple dimensions coexisting, including Bionis, Alrest, and possibly Mira, with a mystical Conduit able to manipulate their very fabric (Alvis?). Seriously, theorists need to get cracking on this.

    Carlos Vazquez

And the last few chapters in the game basically connect Xenogears and Xenosaga to Xenoblade, not to mention that freakin kos mos is in xc2, creating a unique and unbelievably dense lore. Any future xeno game from here on out will only add to the story and mystery

  48. Connormario

Xenoblade 2 is out could, you update this theory?

    Shadow - Resho Gaming

Im still playing through it, but if theres a connection between any other Xeno series ill probably make a theory on it.

  49. Mythguard

I am so glad I’m not the only one who thought about this

  50. Sir Cadet

Holy shit Xenoblade Chronicles 2 ending

    Thor's Hammer

Donaldo alvares Yeah it probably eludes that Mira is both Alrest and Bionis.

  51. NinjaMagic

What if professor B is a homs from the future? Just saying.

  52. Noah Taylor

It's obvious that not all Xenogear lore will tie together like a nice bow. They clearly stated that XCX was based in the Xeno universe, but almost like a paralell story, in a different world. I mean they took the white whale straight from xenogears, almost perfectly to a t. Xenogears even had 'ancient civilization ruins' that you discover throughout the game, and old technology that everyone is trying to excavate to exploit. A lot of XCX is just xenogears cannon re-engineered for a more open world exploration experience. Mira and Bionis are two SEPARATE worlds that exist in the same universe. There's no master secret or hidden gem that explains it otherwise, and all other theories are just reaches. Having played every xeno+++ title make this all too clear.

  53. Reason Lea

This theory sounds bogus. Xenoblade X would have happened before Xenoblade Chronicles. It would be more likely that a new universe was created in Xenoblade X due to its technological advances to resolve alien conflicts, which would lead to Xenoblade Chronicles universe.Another reason why i might think so is that giants do not exist in Xenoblade X which was far more technologically advanced than Chronicles. This would mean that someone had create them which would lead to Chronicles. Also, Tatsu didn't know "homs" in this time period, why would he forget humans were named homs? Or rather, why would the homs rename themselves as humans? The logical answer would be that the term "homs" didn't exist in this period yet, but in the future (chronicles).

  54. Brambles

Early comment before the video : Bionis can't be on Mira because Bionis's and Mekonis's world was created by humans...

  55. TheSpeedymouse

This is all a theory for fun as I know the developers have stated that the games are not connected, but I like to think that the continents we see in X are the remains of the Bionis and Mechonis.Talon Rock and the other things like it in Primorida are the Bionis leg. The hollow hills near the Silent Mire in Primordia are possibly the shoulder/Colony 6's splintered path.Noctilum has the remains of Makna Forest, as well as it has the divine roost. The divine roost's geography is similar to the geography of Eryth Sea in that it is a floating body of water surrounded by land. It also has a telethia in it, which makes sense considering that Alcamoth was in Eryth Sea.Oblivia has the giant ring which looks very similar to the gigantic ring on the Mechonis' left shoulder in art work. There are various other rings in Oblivia that could have been Mechonis body parts. There is a floating island that is literally called the Floating Reef. Perhaps it drifted over from the Divine Roost and is a remain of Eryth Sea? Some reefs also could have floated over to Primordia and become its floating islands. Perhaps multiple parts of Oblivia are from Sword Valley. Not sure about the big hole in Oblivia, though.Sylvalum is very sandy. With lots of concentrated balls of ether and the sand everywhere, I think some of the Bionis Interior ended up here. The sides of Oblivia and the mountain near Badr Basin look metalic in nature, so maybe remains of the Mechonis interior (Mechonis Field, Central Factory, etc.) ended up here as well. Lastly, there are many arches and bridges that look very similar to Valek Mountain, so the remains of that could be here.Cauldros is the volcanic region, which made me think of the lava, hot molten metal in the Central Factory. Perhaps there was lava heating up the metal there and all that lava ended up in Cauldros. Okay, that was a bit of stretch. Besides that, there are many metallic things here that are reminiscent of the Mechonis body parts. Here's my complete theory: Shulk and Alvis recreate the universe. Earth is recreated as well as the new planet that is seen at the end of Xenoblade, which in my totally for fun theory is Mira. The planet at the end of Xenoblade is shown to have the remains of Bionis on it (possibly the Mechonis as well), and these remains plus ground that Shulk and Alvis created become Mira's continents. The Nopon lived on in the region by the time the humans arrive, and the Machina, High Entia, and Homs perhaps went into space to other places. The Homs eventually created the Ganglion as the Sammarians, and some Homs interbred with the new primitvie humans on the new Earth. Some Machina became the Definians as well.Again, this was all a theory for fun, and I don't really believe in all aspects of it, but I do think that the landmarks in X might be references to the original.

  56. lonelyVoxel

I like this! I still feel like Monolith laid the references on thick and the connections didn't have too much meaning in and of themselves, but as the series progresses there will likely be more evidence. Considering that the series is going in a Final Fantasy kind of direction where each game is a different world {XC2 will have a fresh start, too} I wouldn't be surprised if there are common species shared in between them {i.e. Nopon being like FF's Chocobos and Moogles} and further references in the Collectopaedia.

  57. micheljochanson

Nice joke;Creation of a worl without gods, using our universe as reference. It's a 'fucc religion' basically ^^

  58. elbedost

dont forget in one of the quests from the voltants you do a search for info on their old gods and when you complete the quest you see that their gods where actually human or homs (it does not speceficly say human or homs) so this could futher strengten your theory

  59. Jim L.Stone

There was a Hom village on MiraBut the white whale crashed down right on top of it, killing them all

  60. Mastric

My theory is that Xenoblade X is not related to the Original and a spiritual successor like Nintendo said it was.*BUT THATS JUST A THEORY A GAME THEORY*

    just nope

    xenoblade 3ds / 2 and x are linked

  61. Riki

Did everyone just forget about *Ether*?

    dirty kosmos

Read this if you don't care about Xenosaga/gears Spoilers http://xenosaga.wikia.com/wiki/EtherIf you do or want a short answer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XJvOxFhVNbQ

  62. SoloVerse

Lmao the destruction of Earth in both games are too radically different from each other to even try and compare....not even close to a good theory.

    SoloVerse

TheSpeedymouse but it's not a theory. There's barely any theory or thoughtfulness behind it. Its speculation at best, and if anything I'd call it a desperate attempt to draw a connection between games universes that are consistently stated NOT to have any connection. Everyone wants to be a theorist these days lol.

    TheSpeedymouse

You're right. It's a hypothesis. Most people just use the word theory when they mean hypothesis, which I did. I know that they stated they do not have any connection but I find it fun to still think about.

    SoloVerse

TheSpeedymouse nothing wrong with having fun about it. Its just that this really doesn't hold any weight or legitimacy. Plus, there's so much to explore with all the xeno games' lore that doesn't revolve around trying to tie them together so I just feel its a wasted opportunity for some good discussion.

    Kevin Notanactualname

[Edit: should mention that this theory was, at the time, incredibly pushing it, and I STILL don’t agree with it, but there is salvageable stuff in here] I know this is extremely old, but it caught my eye. Play Xenoblade 2 through the end, if you haven’t yet. I’m not going to spoil it, but your opinion might change on this. Monolith wasn’t playing fair, so to speak.

    Ontos

so because earth was destroyed differently in different universes means it’s impossible

  63. Gaming With Luigi

This is just mindblowing! Great video and THEORY!

  64. Starlight Kick

You may wanna update this theory when Xenoblade 2 comes out.Hopefully that game will give us more answers.

  65. kjell jouck

i think metal face is converted into the vita

  66. Kody Kemplin

i hope xenoblade 2 explains what happens to shulk

  67. Noah Sislak

i hope we get a xenoblade chronicles x 2 game i am really exited on the secret of Mira :)

  68. alfredo chamorro

the place in mira where the thelethia stay is similar at the bionis head and is the once of the most tall places of the game

  69. Luxin

This is a very well put together theory, but there are a few small details in both games that make a few points you made a lot less likely.-The world in Xenoblade 1 is described as just the titans and an endless sea. This is said by Alvis in the opening narration too, so it's a lot more likely to be true than if another character had said it.-A minor NPC confirms that the stars, sun, and moon in Xenoblade 1 are actually made of ether, not actual celestial bodies. These last two points basically confirm that the entire universe in the first game is composed of the titans standing on an infinite plane of ocean, with ether lights in the sky.-The planet Shulk makes at the end of the game is heavily implied to be a new Earth, just with the remains and peoples of Bionis (+the Machina) transported to it. The two titans are shown to have emerged from the point in the ocean where Earth once was (it's likely that point became the center of the new universe), and the planet Shulk creates is formed right over the dying titans. My theory for this is that Alvis was able to remake the solar system relatively intact since several planets and the sun appear looking perfectly normally in Zanza's Space Memory, but the rest of the universe was completely redone in such a way that it would contain many planets with new life. I'm pretty sure there's no way this Earth could be the one destroyed at the start of X, the most obvious fact being the other races and humanoids being called Homs instead of humans. Also, Earth in X is confirmed to have had the same history as our own up until Elma showed up to warn the humans and give them technology.-L is native to Mira, and is the last of his race. Ancient members of his species were heavily implied to have made most of the ruins and tech native to the planet.-Defininans are a Ganglion race, they're not actually from Mira.I'm not at all throwing out the possibility of a connection between the universes of the original and X, i don't think Bionis being on Mira is that connection. The Telethia being from a world similar to that of the first game is interesting, though. My personal theory is that the events of the first game exist in-universe in X as a story made up by the Nopon, probably one edited to make Riki the hero, which would explain all the references coming from them only, and Tatsu only sort of knowing the term Hom Hom, he'd probably only heard the legend a couple times.

  70. Alkerae

**realization** so, hey, what about this... Nobody is able to leave Mira, even Professor B couldn't leave with a(n alleged) time machine. Not only that, but the humans arrival on Mira was slightly suspect I always thought. What if it's not so much a case of Mira and Earth being in the same universe (or if they are, that they always were) so much as, Mira IS the planet from XC, after the era of stagnation foreshadowed in the end of it's game. The landmasses are the collapsed body of bionis, and the steel structures in oblivia are what's left of the collapsed body of mechonis after centuries of looting and recycling. The forcefields keeping everybody on the planet are there because it's a world of two long dead gods, it doesn't have a place in a galaxy of rules and physics, and it no longer has gods because of Shulk's wish... however, the events that made this world in the first place, with that space station and supermassive ultra galaxy collider ring the size of the whole planet, those were never truly undone, thus leaving it as it's own special place cut off from the rest of existence due to the wishes of the gods who came before Shulk.I'm way too tired to try to make complex theories, I probably explained that just awfully. It's far more likely that the references are just nods, and the game is only named xenoblade to ride on the coattails of a completely different, totally unrelated game. I do think, however, that the forcefields keeping you within the play area seem awfully story canon, there's mention in the game that the planet seems to attract all sorts of life from all over the universe (and then trap them here), the time travel machine being bounced back is a bigger clue than we think it is, and if this was the world of the gods from XC that may also lay groundwork for explaining how we can all talk to eachother, and why humans just can't seem to die. (Lao having his body back was a big eyebrow raiser, his body was surely destroyed why did it reappear?)OF COURSE, however, this all depends on the devs for this game having a Hideo Kojima level of writing talent and motivation behind a plothole filled world. So... I'm going to just lean on the side of "it's just a stupid game with lots of references" for the time being, because the writing in this game just hasn't earned that level of respect from me from what I've seen so far.

  71. Ivory Booker

Xenosaga and Xenogears are connected Xenoblade Chronicles X. Elma is Alma from Xenogears. Hell, she virtually is KOS-MOS from Xenosaga. The Zohar is the Lifehold computer storing everything that every lived. Also, it was the reason that four of them were floating in space. Skells are the AGWS. Also, the White Whale was the name of the ship in Xenogears that crashed on the planet. This is humanity trying to regain it's lost heritage.

  72. Joe Ham

I'm a fan of both games and this theory, but if zanza made a new universe and in the process getting rid of the milky way galaxy universe thing, it would be incredibly lucky for shulks universe to remake earth

  73. Kaga 27

    Xenoblade2 hype!!!

  74. Jairo monroy

thanks for the warning! Just started playing xenoblade chronicles x. wondering if you guys have any tips.

    Ahmad Williams

how do you like it now?

    Zero Bahamut

try a run with mastermind, brainjack + servant sacrifice is amazing.

  75. Stroh Jacke

At the beginning in x we learned that only a few ships made it alife from earth.... Maybe zanzas original self was once a human, then fleed with his group of scientist or so and boom, the same universe.... But thats maybe a little too far fetched

  76. Kyzoren D. Tirrem

Where does it say the Definians are native to Mira? I don't remember that... Although, even if they aren't, the theory still could work when considering not only the Definians but the Mimiosomes are mechanical as well... why would Elma's race create such a thing? Where does THAT originate if not from them? Also one mustn't forget about the Zaruboggans; In a quest, we aid one in finding the origins of their race, and surprisingly, the progenitors of their race seem to be EXACTLY like humans like in appearance... what's up with that...? We never see Zaruboggans outside of their suits but, due to the reaction of the Zaruboggan quest-giver, I can assume they look nothing like us under their suits...

  77. bladewolf VII

something entirely different: I wonder if humanity has achieved immortality in the sence that the mimeosomes don't age?

  78. Jake Woods

Plus, x could be taking place at the same time as xenoblade, on the same or different planets

  79. Jake Woods

If you look at ending of xenoblade chronciles the bionis appears to be inside a planet, which is rather strange. Plus at the end of xenoblade chronicles x you see the 'broken data base' flooding

  80. Soru98_MOVED TO NEW CHANNEL_

Huh, I honestly didn't think of this theory to be honest. I had a theory about how Bionis and Mira were in the same universe (but different planets), and how Shulk was likely Lin's father. But watching this theory makes SO much more sense!! Time to play X again! :D

  81. Lunay

maybe those ruins in cauldros were sword valley

  82. SitoneRiviera

16:15 This song is in the game but I don't know the name of it and it comes up a lot. Does anyone know the name of this song?

  83. Nick Lauer

What about the telethia at the end of chapter 6? Is that the Endbringer?

  84. James Austen

Nah, Xenoblade Chronicles X and the original one stand strongly alone as independent stories. Trying to link the two of them together is really reaching. It's like trying to link together the universe of Star Trek and Battlestar Galactica. Also, the universe of XCX is much more consistent with Xenogears or Xenosaga than Wii Xenoblade.

    Warp Hype

James Austen This comment needs more attention.

    P V h

Oh, but then why are all these references in XCX pointing straight to xenoblade chronicles?

    MasterJunior93

P V h Easter eggs. Monolith Soft made the games, they can put whatever they want in their own games. There's no need for a connection; game devs love Easter eggs as much as we do.

It seems I'm not the only one who came to the same conclusion of bionis being on Mira. I really hope it is!

  86. AlexsegeCP

I get excited to see video but I saw the spoiler warning. I guess I have to wait lol.

  87. Shieldlesscap

If Shulk created a new universe with Mira, and Alvis is digital, then it would make sense for Mira to be digital.- Translations- Invisible Walls- The planet storing characters' memories- TYRANTS RESPAWNING

    bladewolf VII

not just tyrants, every creature respawns. and mira being a digital world would make much more sense than bionis and mira being on the same planet...

    Alkerae

That's so meta, I love it, the true secret behind Mira is that it exists in a videogame console.

    The#1ZeldaFan

"It's something about this planet." That line might be implying that it's digital buuuut...The way she says it doesn't it sound like it.

    Ontos

mira could be alvis basically making mira a giant planet

  88. Antonin Bernard

I think the ruins in Oblivia look a lot like parts of Mekonis, like the rings on its shoulders. Also, the buildings in Cauldros kinda look like Alcamoth, but that's a stretch. I think if Bionis is somewhere, it just collapsed and formed Primordia and maybe Noctilum. There are things in Primordia that look like Bionis' wings

    Antonin Bernard

Even after Shulk "recreated" the world with Alvis?

    MAZ

Good point, but at the same time, you never see the Mechonis after he recreates the world.

    Antonin Bernard

    @Michael ZvanigaMaybe that was intentional

    MAZ

Ohhhh, I like that idea :)

    Antonin Bernard

Also, there are two things i noticed. Maybe they're just details, but I thought I'd share. First, the voice line of certain characters dying in a fight are similar in both games: for example, Elma and Shulk (who are the main character of each game) both sometimes say 'I'm... sorry'. Sharla says 'Gado' and Irina says 'Leon'. Both characters have the role of a healer, and the names they say is the one of a deceased relative. There are maybe other references like this that I haven't found yet ( apart from all the I'm really feeling it references). The other thing I noticed, which probably is more significant, is that in the first Xenoblade, there are real gods at the end, and in the second one, there are a lot of biblical references (project Exodus, Noah's Ark.. I'm sure I missed a lot of them because I don't know the Bible well at all). This is a 'real' religion, but in this game, gods are nowhere to be seen. I don't know if any of this can help link the two games, but that's all I could find so far. (sorry for long comment)

A bunch of spoilersI just thought of something. Remember when Alvis said that beings "inevitably attempt to escape the passage of fate"? Is this why no one can escape Mira & why others keep crashing onto Mira? The passage of fate did look like space after all. Luxxar says it's even hard to time travel coz of Mira's atmosphere. Doesn't time travel, in either direction, count as changing the future, the same future that is changed within the passage of fate? So it makes sense that Mira's atmosphere is actually the passage of fate instead of normal space.I also believe that Alvis is seriously messing with the people of Mira. The only way I can see it possible for their languages to be translated fluently is through the work of a computer, much like our own smart devices & PCs. There's no way that a person could possibly translate these languages at the rate that the translations are needed. What do you guys think?

    MAZ

Seems legit, but I'm more curious right now to see what they do for XC3. They could advance these theories or trash them completely

    CJluvsMJ27

Michael Zvaniga more spoilers...The whole idea of a computer/Alvis running Mira was influenced by an outside source: the XBCX special edition package. It comes with a flash drive shaped like the little Lifeholds you find all over Mira. What do you do with a flash drive? You plug it into your PC & download the data. Maybe all of the data from the Lifehold was downloaded into Alvis' hard drive when the ship crashed, including the human languages? Even L was able to speak a lil human language with just a 3rd of the Lifehold's data. It's possible that Alvis Rosetta Stone'd the languages as everyone spoke, & it's possible that he saved everyone by making a backup file for the Lifehold Core before it shut down. Yes, I'm implying that Alvis is possibly Mira itself. XP

That's what was about this planet.

in my opinion i think this theory is bs.The Bionis Was a Computerized Program

    Jesy Nelson's Jamaican Accent

@OverWatch Gamer Not how it works. You don't prove something is untrue before it's proven true.

    Darker ·

ok then this theory is not true. This is because in the end of the game its revealed that the bionis and mechonis was created by zanza and meyneth.

    Jesy Nelson's Jamaican Accent

@OverWatch Gamer Yes, that doesn't mean it's a computerized program. Alvis is the computer, the world of Bionis and Mechonis actually existed after Earth was destroyed in that universe. This Theory makes a lot of sense.

7:01 a world with no *Juju*

    MAZ

Can you lead me to this world?

    EmilXOM

If that was the ending, I'd laugh

    The Axolotl

    if only...

  92. Jonathan Garza

i think mira is just one of the worlds if not the world tbat shulk created at the end of xenoblade. i mean he said a world with no gods but really he created a new universe. so in this universe his planet which became mira and earth existed. i just think that bionis became planet mira and those five contenets are what became of the bionis and mechonis. that sounds like a much more plausible theory if you ask me

  93. Firecorgi

I acctually believe the continents are the fallen Titans the continents match up to the original areas in xenoblade (primordia=bionis leg and knee noctilum=satoral marsh mixed with the forest oblivia=a dried up eryth sea it also is the only area with floating islands like eryth sea sylvalum: Valak mountain effected by the ash from oblivia since it is has very tall mountains oblivia:the remains of mechonis after the explosions which is why there is lava and tech there is either the mechon or the enemy in X forgot the name) it makes a lot of sense at least to me because we saw at the end of chronicles that bionis looks flat as if it fell over in the way the landscape looks in the pull out at the end

    Firecorgi

I also propose that in alvis universe earth wasn't a thing it was a different planet entirely and earth was only created after the universal reset that shulk caused and from there earth history happens over billions of years and bionis's parts and mechonis became Mira

    Firecorgi

+Firecorgi I didn't mean alvis I ment Zanza or Claus

  94. Crystal Clear

I screamed when Tatsu said Hom Hom.

    MAZ

I only fell over, that's when I started to theorize the same thing that this theory is...

  95. Ace2003X

You know. Look at talon rock in the entirety of its geography...Done? Doesn't it look like bionis?

  96. Midna78

I strongly believe that Mira is the Planet Shulk created. But what I'm curious about: Who is that black knight in the end walking towards Lao? Were they working together before the final fight? And that single Doll (Skell) that saved the arch alone? Who was inside? And the black one Alexa is talking about, that saved her? Who or what was it?

    MAZ

Something powerful and mysterious, if I had to take a wild guess, I'd say Alvis. The armour looks sci-fi and he wasn't even on the White Whale before or someone would have known who piloted the mech.

  97. Melvin Starks

I like how he warns ppl about spoilers but we have a clear view of blade tower oh and look her a spoiler

  98. Cadance Brown

I don't know much about the game but is it possible that the definiens killed off the homs because they can change there form

  99. King Arthur

Maybe the Homs just didn't enjoy travelling as much as the Nopon. Maybe the Bionis area on Mira is just really, REALLY far away from the other continents, and the Homs didn't feel like bothering with it.

    Jesy Nelson's Jamaican Accent

King Arthur That doesn't sound right though, nopon aren't the curious type.

    King Arthur

@PuPSter PuP Nopon may not be curious, but they are almost every where in Xenoblade 1 and X. In XC, they inhabit Colony 9, spots around the Bionis' Leg, eventually Colony 6, Satorl Marsh, the Bionis Interior, Makna Forest, even Eryth Sea, and Valak Mountain. They aren't on the Mechonis of course, but they're all over Bionis, so it would be plausible that the Nopon would travel out to far away continents such as Primordia and Oblivia. The Homs mostly inhabit the lower parts of the Bionis, and only the war hardened Homs can be found on the Fallen Arm. I'd say it's safe to say that the Nopon generally love travelling, and the Homs will live with what they've got.

    Jesy Nelson's Jamaican Accent

@King Arthur The only reason I can think of is that Nopon just wanted to sell their merchandise to whatever was there at the time so most of them migrated?

    King Arthur

@PuPSter PuP Plausible. That sounds very right.

    Jesy Nelson's Jamaican Accent

@King Arthur In XC they talk about Nopon Merchants traveling across the Bionis all the time so it makes sense some of them would settle in different areas where they sell well.
