Rip little Walter.
I wish some engineer could edit that kraut pecker head out.
Hound Dog lived on Chesterfields and Canadian Club.
Hey German guy. Why did you have to start talking during the harp solo?
It is an honor that The Germans and The Brits. Celebrated our greats way more than white America..
My mother scary too
talent!
Big time talent!
This novice nazi needs an asswoopin.
Y’all might wanna stop talking about the white dude and be thankful to these rude Germans for giving little Walter a platform, one which America barely did in 1967.
So true, when The Rolling Stones first went to the USA and talked about their hero's like Howlin' Wolf the TV commentator did not know who they were talking about.
Stupid fuck talking through the music!!!
One of the only video's of lil walter i could find and this schmuck is talkin over it smfh
That was mom's Chicago home boy way back in the day
Man shut the fuck up! You couldn’t wait until the song was over to talk
Did this stupid mf really just start talking in the middle of a Little Walter harp solo? He lucky he didn’t get cut.
No matter how poor 🙏no matter what color 🙏no matter what background 🙏.....we can all achieve greatness...🙏It's just how bad we want it 🙌 love his music ..."My Babe 👍" the remix with Guda is awesome too..
Yo, let the man speak with the harmonica, shut the fuck up!
Sonar Drums??? What year is this???
schuttzoid thy mouthezunen
Is that Dillard Crume on guitar ?
I remember walking to the barber shop on saturdays in Rosedale, Ms back in the late 1950's hearing this song. WOW!
Little Walter and the Chicago guys ripped this music off from Led Zeppelin.
I love Fred Below in this!
HOWLIN WOLF IS WHAT I FEEL WITH THIS RHYTHM🙌🏻HELL YEA , blues will always be my favorite !
Pobres estaban con miedo acá
German bastard talked to long
love playing along with LW its like meditation stretch a note here bend a note there, free fluid mind while playing,, thanks for sharing,,never STOP loving,, bobbleflobblelobblelob, xxxxx
As much as everybody doesn’t like the guy talking over the music, this film footage only exists because they made a promo for a music festival. The idea was to promote the blues.

Fxxxxxx germans, they always have to in control, viva Brexit,
After the show, little Walter went out, got drunk and got his ass beat for talking shit.
Smh who what why
Who's the bass player?
Stop hating on that German, it's obvious he feels the number and how absurd it is to talk over it. Look at his hand, but his producer insisted. For real he just wants to eat roast chicken and mainline heroin.
Greatness
🌹Beautiful!!!Little Walter🌹🎈
I know this is the original but I like the movie version, it sounds funkiee
Typical German host. Put such great musicians on stage or play them on the radio, and some know-it-all has to spout his schoolboy mouth off so that you can't enjoy the music.
What da fooook ??!?!🙄@ 2:58 Ryseem en buluus ???🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
This video should be retitled "Deutsch uber Walter"
What a gift to hear Little Walter in Germany. Danke Danke !
Zippen zee lip, Fritz, and let's hear the master wail on his harp. Jeez, and I thought American DJs were annoying with their talking over intros and fade-outs.
This dude does too much yapping . Let them play some jams
OMG, that guy talking ..........CRAZY!
Who didn’t Elvis steal from 🤦🏾♂️
Whatever. Elvis loved this music. He covered a bunch of songs he loved. Elvis wasn't a songwriter. Little Walter estate gets paid everytime this version of song is played.
@eldenjr If Elvis had lived he probably would have even stolen from hip hop.😒
Yelp he stole hounddog from this black lady ...smh ...but hes a legend though ....he was a song theif thats what he was ....smh
@Laurie Lewis Both hated and hung around blacks but acted and wanted to be black , the Ric flair of the music industry!
@Douglas Paterson exactly !!
At first I questioned WHY Little Walter's solo sounded exactly like a German man speaking.. so out of curiosity I pulled out one of my older "Made In Germany" HOHNER harmonicas ..and wouldn't you know..
Sitar Zan 😂😂😂
who is that german dude? he can fuck RIGHTO FF
Little Walter was an absolute beast on that harmonica.
Elvis sang this song but little Walter sang it best
That's because Elvis STOLE the damn song from Little Walter...Research is fundamental...DAMN
Fuck Elvis and Pat Boone. Don't @me. Both them STOLE music and NEVER gave credit to the black musicians and writers.
wow this guy the way they portrayed him in the movie Cadillac Records, Im so moved by his actual video, such a different character, such a legend.
've first recognised Little Walter in the tune My Babe, which I got on a blues compilation album more than 30 years ago. What a nerve and what a soound!
They had him playing in that mic, the sound guys wouldn't let him plug into one of the amps or take that mic off the stand. Hound dog couldn't hear him at all, and he (hound dog) started off in E instead of F, walter had to switch harps and sing it a semitone lower.
Little Walter and Louis Myers talk about this in an interview in Living Blues magazine.
this, kids, is what you call a true G.
That white dude may have led an exemplary life, but when he died he arrived in hell and, when he asked why, they showed him this video of him talking over Little Walter's jam.
He may have brought Little Walter to Germany, earned him a packet and might actually go to heaven if that's the case ... where're the grinning emojis when you want 'em? Did you notice that Little Walter went into a comp when the "voice over" happened? I liked the different guitar comp to the recorded version.
That is so funny!!!
Be black, white, or purple when Walter playing you shut up and listen...PERIOD! This is legendary and no one after them needs to hear what he has to say, we here for them blues.
Most accurate comment on the web
@Psycho Bag Of Squanch You are funny!!
This sound is a Classic jazz blues
The master of harmonica
What was a cause of his dead
He died in his sleep after a fight. Official cause of death was "coronary thrombosis" (blood clot in his heart.) He died too young.
You don't talk over a record you lemon, and you certainly don't talk over the harmonica
For real!
You most certainly don't talk over the harmonica...and particularly if 'Little Walter' is the man blowing it!
you're all blind... it adds even more soul to the record
my song
He lived so hard he looks much older than 36 here. I wish he could have enjoyed his greatness more❤
Cocaine and heroin is one powerful drug
We dont really know how old he was. He didn't have a birth certificate and reported multiple birth years throughout his life before eventually settling with 1930
Right i was bout to say you can tel he was a drinker bc he look old & you say he was 36 ....wow ..... Cant believe it ....look every bit of 56.....frfr
This guy will forever be known as the dumbass who stepped on Little Walter. I don't know German but I bet what he was saying was not as awesome as the My Babe solo that Walter plays on the recording.
I would be inclined to say to the MC please shut the fuck up and let the man do his set .
SHUT UP and let the music play!!! DANG!!!
Hey was the king of harmonica blues
In 1968, we lost so many people!!!
Elijah Allison including Frankie Lymon
Its a pity that son of a rat is hiding and speaking while the only God of harmonica is playing!
Here he is the man. Livin with his missus in heaven!
nicely covered by Elvis around 1970. Thats a great version too!
You do realize that My Babe is taken directly from Sister Rosetta Tharpe's "This Train". So what does that make Little Walter? Good grief racist this racist that. If all you see is race, you're probably the one that has the problem.
FingazInc Music is all aboul stealing and copying, and Elvis was not racist at all, what makes you think that way lol
FingazInc WrongElvis publically praised black artists in the racist fifties Jackie Wilson stated most black entertainers copied elvisElvis is kingAnd outsold the planet
@The Thanks Elvis had Fats Domino with him when he first played Vegas and told all present that Fats was the true king. Ignorant clowns, before you spout off, FingazInc, get a clue.
Awww yea..what you say
